Calling

Solidarity Tech aims to help your organization develop deep relationships with your supporters. In order to do this, you're likely going to need to go beyond email and text communication, and talk with people on the phone. Talking with supporters on the phone is second only to face-to-face contact in terms of your ability to form the type of strong connections that your organization will need to build power and win campaigns.

After your Standard or Low-Volume Standard brand registration is approved, Solidarity Tech registers your chapter phone numbers for SHAKEN/STIR. On the Professional plan, you can add a Branded Caller to show your organization's name in caller ID. In each chapter's 'Incoming Calls' settings, you choose how its calls ring. The default is 'Route Directly to Voicemail', and the other options ring team members in the Solidarity app. Voicemails play in the Call Inbox, and in the person's conversation in the Text Inbox and the Solidarity app.

To this end, Solidarity Tech offers built-in calling support in the dashboard and the Solidarity app, with a series of tools to help your organization streamline voice communication over the phone. This section will cover the basics for how calling works throughout the platform, and adjoining sections for phonebanking and scheduled calls will review specific tools for building strong relationships over the phone with your supporters.
